We've had a lot of new people join the forum, so a refresher is in order...

Except for special occasions, animated GIFs go in the GIF Thread. They're often very large downloads, so we keep them in one place where people enter at their own risk. We do this because many of us have limited computing resources; either we use our phones to check the forum, or we have limited bandwidth where we live, or we have other tabs and programs open and we don't want them all to grind to a halt. Under those circumstances, animated GIFs are land mines.

Please note that wrapping images in spoiler tags does NOT prevent those images from loading in the browser. CSS (i.e., the mechanism that shows/hides blocks of content in a web page) doesn't work that way.

To be precise, the GIF thread is for gifs in general, but if you have an occasional small (<~300k) gif that you want to post in a different thread because it is on topic with the discussion at hand, there is no problem with that. The gif you posted earlier was fine.

I do. And I checked it shortly after he posted it and saw that it was a smallish gif, which is why I did not move it myself.

yesterday at rehearsals, Riho wore a t-shirt that was designed by Sayu to wear at rehearsals when Morning Musume got their 2nd consecutive #1 with Brainstorming. Riho fixed the "2" with tape to make it a "3" and she showed it to Sayu! Sayu said it was really cute.
