We knew it's going to happen based on yesterday's sales, but it's still great to see.

I can't feel a tad dissapointed, since it didn't beat 1.2.3 second day sales, and that it got daily #2, but I shouldn't be, it's still an improvement from the other recent singles, and made it go past 100k. Also, there were stock issues (amazon, local stores, etc) so we may not see better number these days until thy restock.

Anyway, MM has sold in 2 days what 1.2.3 sold in its whole first week! Now let's grab that weekly #1!!!

Re-the AKB rivalry, the only way I see them taking them is if they can manage to keep the stores well stocked to meet demand. Cus selling 1 million in the first day is going to take a looot of work!

This is an excellent start to that though.

LOL, I swear we're the only two people that are concerned about sales might be lower than possible just because people can't find a copy to buy. Seriously though, I was just thinking... imagine you're a pretty casual fan who walks into a CD store and picks up copies of some recent releases. There are no copies of MM's single available at the store or at any other store on the block. How many more places are you willing to check, and every how many days would you check at your local places? If you're not a very serious fan, that is, despite how MM has certainly caught your attention recently!

Well now that a lot of shops seem to having stock issues the retailers will make sure to buy in more next time. This is why I wish Oricon would count downloads since that medium never has that issue.

I feel now the girls really deserve to be in Kotaku

You know, if they pick up a lot of #2s or #3s during the week (hopefully at least beating AKB though lol), it'll just heighten the drama for when weekly no. 1 comes, even though it's not really going to be a surprise. (unless they just drop off the map and others do 10k+ every day... stopping that train of thought now lol.)

Also, with the trend in drop-offs, unless they get some bumps, it might be tough to even reach like 125k. 130 at least would be nice though. ^^ Of course, we're already over the top. We just always want more.
