In the interviews Sayumi says that Morning Musume's recovery is "倍返し" - twice as powerful. This is very smart of her, as that's a word that's gotten a lot of attention in Japan lately with the hitdrama Hanzawa Naoki getting close to 30% on a weekly basis in viewing ratings. It's a word the main character uses as a "main phrase" of his and it can be used in several contexts as long as the word 返す is involved and can be related to it.

Really just wanted to point out again how smart she is. xD <3 Headlines can look "Momusu will give back twice as much!" or something, depending on how they put it. And half of the people that would see that would recognize the 倍返し and think of the drama and thus be interested in what Momusu said that has to do with it. Answer is nothing of course. But it creates neat headlines.
Don't know if anyone cares about this tiny part of trivia but still.

^Yep, there was never any doubt Sayu is very good at those kind of things. "Returning it twicefold!" really does have a nice ring to it in context of Morning Musume's "re-emergence" lol.

So I did some checking and this has already outsold the first week sales of everything since Shabondama*, which sold 98k in its first week. There are only 13 singles* that have a higher first week than this one.

*Not counting One・Two・Three which sold 100k but WagaDan will definitely outsell it.

They average about 5400 sales/day after release date. Would they just keep that up, we have 120k settled.
But with this boom... maybe 130k is doable.

Tomorrow's numbers will be nice. 10k! <3 For sure will overcome 100k at least.
