So everyone looking forward to the riots this weekend?? lol. 50 people for autographs each day... fun. ;) And on Sunday the live is at 2/2:30 in Union Square, and the autographs are at 5 in Japantown... It'll be a race once the live is over! I'm guessing the Japanese wota might just skip the live...

I was planning to just park in Japantown Saturday morning, but I guess I'll have to get there a little early...

Information on the J-Pop Summit website differs from what we've been seeing:

◉ Autograph sessions & talk show by by LoVendoЯ!
7/27 (Sat) 11:30am / 7/28 (Sun) 5:00pm
The first 30 people who purchase LoVendoЯ’s CD can get LoVendoЯ’s autograph!
Merchandise sales start at 11:00am. Don’t miss this chance!

^ I saw that too, and though I tend to trust UF Link, whether it's 30 or 50 won't end up making a whole lot of difference to me... lol.

I just hope they have enough merchandise to sell beyond that first 50 or so, cause even without an autograph ticket I'd like to buy a CD and maybe whatever else they have. If not... well, it'll save me money, I suppose.

I already have the CD, so the only reason I'd be buying another copy is for the autograph ticket.

I'm hoping for t-shirts, though.

I'm thinking about leaving LA around 4:00 AM. That should give us time to make the autograph event.

Sohee (or anyone else who wants to ride with me), what do you think?

I thought 6:00 AM at first, but then I checked distances, transit schedules, etc. I think it's going to take about five to six hours to actually get to Japantown in SF from LA -- four and a half to five hours to get to the Bay Area, then another hour or so to actually get to Japantown. That's averaging about 80+ miles per hour (around 130 kilometers per hours) on I-5, which is possible, if there are no major delays.

That's if we want to make it to the autgraph session (and it looks like most people do - I could go either way). If we skipped the autograph session, we could probably leave around 9:00 AM...

Oh I wanna go. Not that I'm sure I can afford the album... lol. But. I'm up for either as I'll be dead by 6pm tomorrow night and head to bed then anyway. xD

Just in terms of driving safety, it would probably be better to leave around 6:00 or 7:00 AM, and skip the autograph session. If they're really going to stick to the "first 50 only" policy, there's a good chance that more than 50 people will be waiting in line by mid-morning, so we wouldn't make it in time to get autographs no matter how early we leave for SF.
