I already went three times XD

I want to see it, but I haven't really had a chance yet. Except for film festivals and special screenings, I pretty much limit my moviegoing to weekend bargain matinees, and my weekends have been insanely busy this month. Maybe I'll see it Sunday afternoon, even though I have work I should be doing instead. Saturday is out, since I'll be seeing three films at the Silent Film Festival.

Yea I saw it and it was pretty solid. Had to see it at the ghetto theatre instead of the nice one but heck, it was still cool.

Awesome, glad to see more people enjoyed it.
I normally don't get invested in any hollywood movies' success but the dismissive pre-release buzz and now hearing how lukewarm the reception this movie in terms of financial success is ... especially considering the go-to comparison to Bay's Transformers movies and the fact that it raked in hundreds of millions despite being far less entertaining or comprehensible during the action scenes... yeah, it kinda annoys me more than a little bit.

It actually does pretty well on review aggregators like imdb or rotten tomato, 7.9 and 72% respectively but it still seemed like people wouldn't give the movie a chance sadly. Oh well, I'll just count my blessing that this movie even got made in the first place and pray for a director's cut blu-ray with more jaeger vs kaiju action :fear:

I haven't seen it yet, but every review I've seen of it (like on FB, Twitter, etc) has been glowing with praise.
