Yes, because all the groups all over the country look the same, and it's not at all possible that she simply wasn't what they were looking for, of course not.

What's wrong with elementary school students?

I don't know... But, Riho, Kanon, Masaki and Haruka were obviously bad additions.

It was a joke post
.
It makes sense to add younger girls. Older girls are less likely to last as long as younger ones. Idk.
I get why people don't like it, but younger girls have always been added to MM。. Fukuda Asuka was 12.

It's more an issue of current MM lacking any sense of maturity. There has always been a mature chunk within MM. That no longer is the case.

um Haruka.
Age doesnt necessarily mean anything in terms of maturity. What comes with age is experience, nothing else.
I don't consider Haruna or Kamei more mature than most of their kouhais, other than being a bit more physically mature.
Heck, Haruka is one of the youngest members but still one of MM's most mature members.

Also I would argue that during platinum era there were periods in which there really were no mature members in the womanly sense. It took Ai and Risa a while to really grow up.

Completely agree with you.
Platinum 9 were like your typical japanese girl, sexy but with the mind of a 12yo (Reina, Sayumi, Kamei, Junjun, Koharu).
And then you had Aika who just looked 50, and tried to act young.

I dunno. I wouldn't say Haruka's *that* mature. She just doesn't act as silly as, say, Masaki.
Sakura seems pretty mature for her age, though.
