Holy shit at C-ute slaaayyyinnnnng.
I usually refrain from using the word slay[ing] but in this case it seems so appropriate.

I'm surprised at Maimi ranking (so much) higher than Airi though.


Also the Nogizaka girl's name is Ikuta Erika so whoever probably just read Ikuta Eri... and assumed it had to be Erina.

Also, lolololol at Mano and Ai-chan still ranking so high when they're "not" idols anymore. Hahahahaha.


And the real reason why I came to than rankings thread:

Morning Musume
1) Rihoriho
2) Mizupon (Seriously climbing the ranks. Might displace Riho if she keeps it up).
3) Sayu (fantastic leader/amazing on variety shows)
4) Maa-chan (her craziness is indeed genius)
5) Eripon (I still want my damn PonPon's duet)
6) Harunan (probably still the least talented but her personality's starting to get to me)
7) Zukki (her renewed vigor will probably propel her higher if she keeps it up)
Sakura (that voice-doh)
9) Ayumi (I'm starting to understand the whole "Ayumi is gorgeous" viewpoint and while a great dancer I'm not really a fan of the tone of her voice, not that she hasn't been becoming a better singer, nor do I really see her personality yet)
10) Kuduu (I'm tired of her being a tomboy. Also her voice isn't being taken advantage of which is moreso UF*'/Tsoonk's fault than hers but somebody's gotta be at the bottom).

Not really a ranking but here's a list of Morning Musume singles song that has a permanent spot on my playlist pretty much since I first heard them

-Shouganai Yume Oibito
-Kimi Sae Ireba Nani mo Iranai

There are a lot more songs from MM that I do like very much by the way(basically every colorful era singles, many other singles, album and coupling tracks etc) but unless I was specifically playing an MM/H!P playlist they're pretty much on rotation

Maybe you noticed a running theme from those songs I listed lol, what can I say? I like them sappy, I guess >_<
I don't really know how to describe it myself and I hate to use the term "emo" and it's not even close to an accurate description for it imo but I don't know ... maybe someone with a better grasp of the English vocabulary can help me out here ^^; ?

The melodies for those songs are kinda ...touching? rousing..? stirring?

Ranking after Reina

1. Sayashi Riho. Among MM members, her stage presence is unmatched.
2. Satou Masaki. Don't lose to Yasushi san, Maachan!
3. Fukumura Mizuki. Perfect looks, add some real talent and we've got a winner!
4. Michishige Sayumi. She's climbed a lot recently. I love how she gives her best for the group.
5. Ishida Ayumi. Cute and a great dancer. Has been a little quiet lately though.
6. Kudou Haruka. She so cute, I want her to become more girl-like!
7. Oda Sakura. She's steadly climbing... she's a great addition to the group already.
8. Ikuta Erina. I love her, I wish she were higher in the list, it just show how much a like this lineup.
9. Iikubo Haruna. I think she's gained a little weight as of late? She's really pretty!
10. Suzuki Kanon. She's regaining that fun side of her! I'm glad of the positive change.

Don't hate anyone, really. This is a great lineup, that's gonna get stronger with the time, and hopefully we'll get a 12th generation that is at least as awesome as the 9th-10th-11th gens

My Post-Reina MM Ranking, which changes pretty often I have to say.

1) Maachan (She got me with the "like me at that age" factor... yes... I was that bad... and my friends say loveable but I wonder Though she has a million times more confidence than I did)
2) Sayu (Has gone from being one of my favourites because of my love of the underdog to because she's just so plain awesome)
3) Riho (This is recent, but every time I see her or here about her doing something awkward it makes me like her more and more.. also she is seriously adorable)
4) Harunan (She used to be way low on my list, but she works hard and is pleasantly dorkish <3)
5) Kudou (I love her best with Maachan, but whenever the girls coax her into being girly and she gets all embarrassed is the best of best)

After this they are all pretty much the same with OdaSaku and Ayumin a little over PonPon and Zukki. OdaSaku is starting to really climb up my lists though, her blogs have a huge part of this. I hope to see the quirks of her personality shine through more and more as she gets more and more settled.

I also really don't dislike anyone. I despaired when I realized Zukki was at the bottom of my list, because I still love her so much ;_; I'm so proud of MM for making a list like this difficult to make.
