[7/10] ℃-ute 22nd Single "Kanashiki Amefuri / Adam to Eve no Dilemma"

Maimi is much more stable vocalist than Maimai. She usually is on key but her voice is flat.
Maimai's voice is special and I like it. But she cracked too often during live.

I prefer Mai to Chisa. Chisato has that weird....thingy...warble? Scream? About her voice/singing.

Chisato's voice has this weird tone to it. It bothers me a lot when she has solo lines but she sounds fine in duets. (I avoided Kanashiki Heaven for so long when I found that it was a Chisato x Airi duet however.) Maimai's voice is a bit too high for the newer C-ute image. Like in Tokkaiko Junjou she and Nakky sounded fine but now it sounds out of place.

I really want to hear Kanashiki Amefuri but it sounds like it would be a ballad or maybe something like Berryz' Sayonara Usotsuki na Watashi.




In the Adam to Eve MV blog post Maimi mentions the c/w a little bit saying it's of a new genre for C-ute. Also that they would be filming the Kanashiki Amefuri MV the next day.

The girls said in their blog that they danced a lot during Kanashiki Amefuri's PV shooting, and it's really really cool. Mai said it was a lot of fun but she couldn't smile. Airi said they wore three outfits and did something new. The pic Chisa uploaded shows Nakky with really wet hair. Maybe they dance in the rain during the MV?

I think rain would be too hard to hard for the girls. If they completed a whole PV filmed in the rain I would be seriously impressed. But also worried about the girls.

I remember Hyuna's Change MV had a scene that was filmed in the rain and in making she was shaking afterwords so bad. Because the studios are usually air conditioned, and as well as the water would most likely be cold as! I wonder how the PV will turn out D:

The way they styled Chisato's hair makes her look like a dyke. Ugh seriously its just as bad as Kanon's Yume Miru 15 styling.
She looked so much cooler at the live. "That awkward moment when the girls style their hair better than the professionals."

If we are honestly talking vocal ABILITY you really can't argue Airi > Chisato > Mai > Maimi > Saki. Maimi is ALWAYS so flat, Mai may have stamina issues on stage but as far as singing goes she's definitely more spot on.
