I just remembered watching the weather forecast last night ^^;
Yeah its going to be hot in the afternoon in the 25-30 celcius range and cool down in the evening. No rain forecasted. The low pressure system already left and headed towards the Pacific along with the rain.

I find that I'm actually not sad -- sentimental, maybe, but not sad. And that's really because of what Reina has going for her: She had a great 10-year run in Morning Musume, and now she's going to a very promising post-MM career.

Rika left Morning Musume for 美勇伝 not even going to try to deal with the correct romanization at this point , but 美勇伝 was firmly in the idol ghetto right from the start, which did turn out to be a limiting factor in terms of range of audience appeal.

LoVendoЯ, on the other hand, is definitely not in the idol ghetto -- rock audiences have different demands and expectations (even when they're made up largely of the same actual people as an idol audience ), and I think that LoVendoЯ makes the grade without any problem. I could see them holding their own against SCANDAL, with at least as large and enthusiastic a following.

So in a lot of ways, I think Reina's on a roll.

I'm just so sad right now!! I've never really experienced a favorite leaving before. I've liked Reina ever since the beginning of my being a fan of MM and idol groups. I will still be a fan of MM and support them but it will feel very different without her being there. Ugh...I really wish she wasn't leaving even though I know she is truly enjoying her time with her band I will miss her in MM. She isn't even left yet and I'm already so sad

My original oshi-mem graduates today, and I am really happy she is getting to move forward. I did get a lot of heat initially as I posted on twitter after a convo with a mate I expected a Rika style graduation once Lovendor were confirmed, 24 hours later and it was a public announcement in concert. (yes I am to blame, hate me! ) But I really am looking forward to what Lovendor do as the members have some interesting styles and differences. Plus Reina doesn't really need MM anymore, she has been a centrepiece for some ten years, much like Ai Chan was, and for both the benefit of Reina and MM it was time to move on. So bon voyage Reina, I'm sure you need no luck!
