My copy of Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers already shipped! It should be mine in two days. That's it, I'm absolutely never going to buy my games here in Mexico, I'm still waiting for Fire Emblem (release date: February 4) to hit local stores.

Can't wait.

My main issue with Dany's arc in the series is how painfully straight they're playing the messianic archetype with her and by limiting other characters around her to little more than exposition tools we don't get to see her self-doubts and very obvious inexperience compared to her advisers and oppositions. Meanwhile my issue with Jon's is just that his actor isn't a very good one, I'm afraid, although other characters in his pov arc makes up for it a little.

Can't deny that the Mother of Dragons looks better than ever though

The ED song for episode 3 was annoying, even if it did tie back into the episode.

I thought it was one of the more boring episodes.

It was supposed to be. Annoying, shocking, jarring… take your pick.

I don't think shocking/jarring, at least for me in this case, is quite the same thing as what I mean when I say it was annoying. It may have had a different effect on me had the ending been new to me, but the internet lovingly exploded into un-hidden spoilers for me before watching it.

Disney has its own in-house everything. It bought Lucasfilm/LucasArts only for the intellectual property.

I've seen comments elsewhere that Blackfish and Edmure are more polarized than how they were in the books — Blackfish is more intolerant and Edmure is more incompetent. I understand why it was done, but I'm not sure I like it.

Spoiler: show
Does Edmure need to be portrayed as utterly whipped to make the coming deal with Jaime (in Book 4 / either late Season 4 or early Season 5) more believable to a mainstream audience?
