I was watching London hearts just yesterday and damn, Erina really should get on that show. She's probably too young, which kinda sucks but really, she'd be perfect. Haruna would be nice too, but she's not the personality suit for it. Unless she'd be like "I'm #9, but I understand that since I lost to these lovely ladies I don't blame you at all, I'm happy about this. ^.^" which would do for great comedy too if someone would tsukkomu her. xDD

I was just about to argue in favor of Haruna till I read the rest of what you said and that was my exact argument. Haruna would be hilarious as the "Yeah that's okay" Super sweet role that almost comes across as snark, but since it's genuine you just kinda get mad at her. Comedy

^x2 Getting Iikubo on shows like London Hearts and have her defend her favorites like Sayu or Morning Musume in general could be fun too
In the latest Young Town when Ikuta rejects Sanma's suggestion to start changing directions like saying how much she respected and loved Sayu now that Niigaki's not around much anymore, she got all indignant and passionately argues with Ikuta "How could you say such things?" while still using her usual formal speech

Not that Ikuta doesn't like Sayu or anything, quiet the opposite actually but she prefer not to advertise it as much as Iikubo (or Fukumura for that matter) so she can keep being the receiving end of Sayu's teasing. Besides, after Reina, she's probably the one who can trade banters with Sayu the easiest without both needing to hold back with each other. I'm glad she realized that and decided to use it to her and the groups benefit

Eripon has a good awareness for this kind of thing imo, character types and how to use it to be entertaining, it should serve her well in variety circuits in the future.
