She cites all the thinking on whether or not to participate in the election led her to think about her place in the group and her future. She wants to explore new things and fullfill her dream of becoming an actress.

No date has been announced yet.




I'm.. quite destroyed. I saw it coming because she chose not to participate but still.

Graduation date confirmed for August 28. Graduation ceremony will be held at Tokyo Dome on August 22nd.

As much as I am upset about Sayaka's leaving I think it's time, though I don't think I could have handled it a year ago. I know Sayaka will do great in her career.

I'm glad she and Itano (and Mariko?) are going out with a bang in a dome concert! I know I'd wish Maachan had gotten that even if she had to share it with other members.

Agreed on all counts. Those Dome Concert DVDs are going to make me cry so much again..

I always loved Sayaka, since the last shuffle she was definitely my team K oshi (but I liked her since the K2 days so..)

I think she'll do fine on her own. I sort of wish Sae would have accepted the concurrent position just so they would be together for this.. hopefully she will be there anyway since she's senbatsu for the fortune cookie song.
