OK. Completed the upgrade from phpbb 3.0.RC5, to the latest version of phpbb (3.0.2)

Why upgrade? Basically, to give us the choice of having more recent "styles," and for some other modifications that are available.

The new default style has the avatars on the left that many been requesting.

More styles are available in the User Control Panel.

Which style has the avatars on the left? I switched to Hello Kitty and then I switched back to Prosilver or whatever. Not that I care much, just wondering.

From memory, I believe Avalon and Subsilver. (And, looks like X-treme and AeroBlue do as well.) Avalon is supposed to be the default but for some reason Brushed Metal won't go away.

Any chance of getting the same layout as JPM, Zu?

^ as far as I can tell, the closest style that phpbb has to subsilver (the native jpm style) is subsilver2 (which is available in your choices). there's a new one I just added, Minimalist, which has very sparse elements and might suit those who don't like the flash of most phpbb3 styles.

Also, figured out the "brushed metal" persistence issue. I had to update the anonymous user preferences, is all. Twasn't a bug, just my ignorance.
