a few people are popping over here to check out the site
but it looks dead
which is a good thing
as long as our original home is working
my suggestion is BOOKMARK the site anyway
and ask your jpm friends to do so.
then when jpm dies again
you can PM your friends from here
to remind them of this place.
hence we will have a place to gather
this is meant to be a second home for jpm members
if anyone has another suggestion
on how to deal with the outages in our community
other than abandoning it out right
please make them known to us.
i'll be happy to abandon this experiment
if any other solution is found.

I've received a suggestion of sorts
regarding 'incentivising' joining this forum
to create a smidge of excitement
so that more people are aware of the backup
and we can get a critical mass of users.
with luck, more on this topic in the next day or two.

How does this forum feel about downloads?
I kinda feel like it should be like regular JPM, as in, not really allowing full singles/albums/320 kbp/s rips, but be a little less nazi about, oh say, concert rips? haha.
I don't know. I looked and couldn't find anything posted haha.

still fleshing that out. no hard-and-fast policy as of yet, however media links should preferentially be placed in the vault.

i'd like to suggest a dark template board. the white board is too bright sometimes.

This. Maybe we could have a bunch of different board layouts?

I like this layout a lot better than the last, but an option of choosing our own templates would rock.

You can, by going to the user control panel. The option should be under "board preferences".
