- No GBA Slot
- SD Slot
- Internal storage space
- Two built-in cameras (3MP & 0.3MP)
- Music player (seems like a built-in Play-Yan)
- Bigger screens
- Slightly thinner than the DS Lite
- Just ONE Touch Screen (Same as DS/Lite)
- Built in web browser
- "DS Ware" to be available for purchase (including free apps/games like the Apple App store)
- Will be available in Japan on November 1st for $179.99
- A new firmware and DS Channel/App interface
- Mii support on DS

I really, REALLY want a DSi... my current DS can already play music/videos, but the bigger screens, larger stylus, cameras, DS Ware and potentially exclusive titles make it worth owning. Hopefully it won't be region locked (due to the online store), I love playing Japanese games...

Depending on what hits the online store, I'll decide how interested I am. Not that I have to worry, since it doesn't hit North America until Holiday 2009

But if there are some VC titles for the DSi.... Mein Gott! Playing those VC titles on the go >>>> stuck to my Wii and TV.

I just bought a PSP 3000, and I love it lol* I also have a DSlite... I guess this is a good buy for someone that doesn't have either... but in my case, they would have to make a game I really wanted to play badly, to make me buy one of these..

to me the camera on the dsi is really stupid. the dslite is fine as it is.

It's true, I don't care much for the cameras, web browser, etc, because I really didn't need that functionality in my DS, but the real news here is the storage space and downloadable content. Especially if VC hits the DS. Playing three player Secret of Mana on my Wii this Christmas will be great, but being able to play it on my DS would be even better.

You should be playing your GBA titles on a GB Micro! (So wonderful!)

Unless you're intending on playing Guitar Hero on the DS, or using the old opera web browsing software. Then yeah, I guess I understand your pain.

i have a ds classic (that's a fancy term for old and clunky ) but the microphone doesn't work anymore from when i dropped it in my cat's bowl.

do i want to upgrade when it comes out?
i should just wait til it gets to america cause i'll be cheaper then

but oh man, how cool would i be to have one before everyone else? xDDD

Yeah, I'm shocked here too. I still have the DS phat, DSI would have been the ultimate version to get. Too bad that's not the case since there is no GBA slot. I play GBA games all the time >_<
