Aira Mitsuki is a Japanese techno-pop singer produced by Oonishi Terukado. Out of 6,325 applicants, she was chosen as the winner of the 2007 MEGA TRANCE Singer Audition.
Stage name: Aira Mitsuki (アイラミツキ)
Kanji: 相良美月 (Read the same as stage name)
Birthdate: September 21st, 1988
Birthplace: Saitama, Japan
Blood type: O
Height: 158cm
Aira Mitsuki released her debut single, "Colorful Tokyo Sounds NO.9," on August 8th. A song on the single is being used as the official song for the Japanese "Transformer Cafe", based on Transformers. She also performed at an MTV-sponsored event for the film on July 25th, 2007.
Aira announced in May through a MySpace bulletin that her debut album was set for release in summer 2008. "C.O.P.Y" included all the titles from her previous three singles and was released in both limited and regular editions. Shortly after its release, Aira's fourth single was announced for October 2008.
Aira has also made two cover songs, one for Cascada's Every Time We Touch, and Genki Rockets' Heavenly Star. These cover songs were released in CD-R format and were given out at Aira's live performances during 2007.

I really like Aira Mitsuki! I think that people aren't being very fair when they call her a 'failed clone' or any of that junk. I think that she has her own grittier sound and I really like it.
That being said, Robot Honey is very cute and the samples for the other songs on the single sound interesting!

Yeah, to me, her style sounds different from the other techno artists they're comparing her to.
I was quite surprised at where C.O.P.Y charted, considering how her first two singles did.

it's awesomeeeeee.
also the plaid thing is just a cardboard sleeve. inside is the promo picture (the one where it looks like it was all drawn on) for the booklet.
i also got a little card from hmv that has the promo pic on the front, and on the back if you go to airamitsuki.com/hmv, you can download a little remix ring tone for your japanese phone haha.
but yeah. mini live is november 9th
i'll be sure to go.
