★Here’s a basic band introduction★


The three of us (Ryuta, Genki, and I) have been together since kindergarten. We lived so close to each other that our parents knew each other’s faces.

When Ryuta and I were in junior high, we rode the second band boom (?) and got electric guitars to start a band. We gave that up when the boom declined.

We entered high school and started a band again. Yearning to be street musicians, we achieved our street debut in the autumn of our 2nd year in high school. But, succumbing to the humiliation of not gathering a crowd, we broke up after a day.

When we were about 18, Ryuta and Genki aimed to do street lives again. Looking at their crisp appearance, I wedged myself between them, as if I were a man whose wife was stolen from him. That is how the forbidden love triangle-acoustic guitar unit was formed. And, miraculously, I was the main vocal. At the meeting after our first live, it became apparent that “it’s shouldn’t be me,” and I gave up on the road to lead vocal.

A year after formation, we finally noticed the limit of our love triangle. To start real band activities, we started looking for an official drummer. Searching continuously for two years, when we were just about to give up, we encountered Seiji, who lived in Saitama at the time.

From that day on, we went to Saitama once a month to practice in the studio. Seiji came to Osaka for every show. The ultimate romance of a long-distance band began.

Half a year later, love came true, and flumpool was formed in January of 2007!
