viewtopic.php?p=247546#p247546Due to popular demand, they are producing a second run of this play (Oct 17–25 in Tokyo, Nov 7–8 in Osaka), and here is Kudo (and her co-stars) to promote it…
Note her teeth. Or, if you don't want to watch a video just to see her teeth, here's a photo from the release event for her latest movie…

That makes Airi the last hold out, no? I can't think of anyone else among current and graduated H!P who still has problems that severe. Yokoyama is close but not quite
that severe, and Tanaka just has cute little fangs. All the rest — Tsuji, Wada, Kanazawa, Ise, and now Kudo — have been taken care of.

If it's not a problem for them, it's not a problem. These are just cosmetic features we're talking about.

^ Fair enough. I didn't think of her because she's still relatively new and I simply haven't seen that much of her.

That's not true at all. Difficulty with cleaning which in turn leads to increased risk of cavities, gum disease, and eventually heart disease; difficulty with chewing which in turn can lead to eating disorders; increased risk of biting the lip or tongue which in turn can lead to infection and/or scarring; increased or uneven wear which in turn can lead to chipping or cracking; increased risk of clenching or grinding which in turn can lead to headaches and TMJ disorders…

All of that is true, and well-stated, if she's in fact experiencing any of those difficulties you outline. But in the majority of cases, crooked teeth are purely a cosmetic issue. If she feels better about herself to get them aligned then by all means she should do it. First link I get when I look up
crooked teeth:
"...Crooked, misaligned teeth are very common. Many children and adults have them. If your teeth are crooked, you shouldn’t feel like you have to straighten them.
Teeth that aren’t perfectly aligned are unique to you and can add personality and charm to your smile"
Personally I think it's done wonders for Kudou, but I'm not a fan of how it's affected Rose Quartz's face. That tiny imperfection humanized her, and now she looks more generically beautiful. In the case of Tanaka Reina, I think it would be a mistake as well. But of course in the event of health issues, those would be paramount, I totally agree!

^ As someone who had a fang, I’ve been on Invisalign going on two years this November. Covid prolonged my suffering. I did it because after my wisdom teeth were removed my teeth started shifting forward instead of backwards. It was purely cosmetic but I feel so much more confidence. Though, they had to remove teeth to make it work because I had a severe fang and a tiny mouth.
I’m curious to know if they are doing a version of that or some other type of procedure. Tsuji went really extreme to the point her teeth are unnatural. Kudo looks very natural.

^^ There’s a significant difference between “teeth that aren’t perfectly aligned” and one tooth literally in front of another. That’s why I discounted Yokoyama and Tanaka. Riai is borderline.
But whatever. It’s a decision made between the orthodontist and the patient.
