I just can't understand those opinons like this about 9th & 10th Gen

I still don't know why people take it so seriously They're not the only girls to get targeted because of their looks. Aika's teeth and chin, Miya's horse face, Maasa's weight, Momo's twin tails, Haruka's boy-ish looks, Kanana's derp face, etc.

I doubt anyone feels actual hate for any of the girls, we all just have a least favorite member.

Anyway, my ranking:
- Sayumi
- Ayumi
- Reina
- Haruka (huge bump, I'm not sure what happened)
- Riho
- Mizuki
- Eripon
- Kanon
- Masaki
- Haruna (speaking of looks, I can't get used to hers )
- Sakura (too new, don't know anything about her)

1 Tanaka Reina - I don't even know, she just can't get down from here.
1. Michishige Sayumi - Same rank as Reina, really. Because they're just that awesome. Both of them will stay here until they graduate.
3. Satou Masaki - I don't know what it is about this girl, she's just... really amazing. I love her. @.@ Granted her endless giggling etc does get tiring after a while but even so... @.@ I love her. <3
4. Ikuta Erina - Her Gaki-obsession is cute but not one of the reasons I like her. She has so much more and it's so obvious too. Even if she does the magic-thing and all, it's obvious that she's so much more responsible than that etc and that just makes me like her so much more ahaha.
4. Fukumura Mizuki - Same rank as Eripon. She's awesome, sweet singer, humble personality, knows how to interact with fans and she's absolutely stunning. Some more confidence and practice and she'll be one of the best performers in the group, too.
6. Sayashi Riho - No dislike for this girl, though her voice sometimes... is a bit difficult to take. But she's cute, very talented dance and funny sometimes. But she's not outstanding to me.
7. Suzuki Kanon - She was my favorite of 9ki and just cause she's here doesn't make her my least favorite or anything. I like her still, but I think this, trying to find herself that she's doing it making her "less interesting". I love her voice and I think she's probably very important for the group in terms of group parts and such. I just hope she finds herself soon enough.
8. Ishida Ayumi - Aside from Masaki, my favorite from 10ki. I love her guts, I love her determination and I love that she seems to improve with her singing. She'll climb soon, I think.
9. Iikubo Haruna - I do not dislike this girl. I like her a lot. She's really funny and very cute and humble. But somehow she just doesn't stand out to me.
10. Kudou Haruka - She's growing into her looks, and if that was all I'd rank them by, maybe she'd be higher. But unfortunately it's not. I hope she'll grow up soon though.

Dislike or hate is not how i'd say it but there are definitely some girls in H!P past and present that i just don't care for in terms of looks/appearance/style. I thought everyone has one of those too ?

Momochi's twin tails are a fashion decision, not a physical feature.

But part of the point of an idol is their visual appeal. If you're gonna see them in PVs/DVDs/concerts/etc, you're gonna and them to look pretty.

But, not too pretty. Male wota want their idols to look approachable as well. Having visual "flaws" (charm points) enhances the appeal of an idol since wota can imagine that they can have a girlfriend like that since she isn't out of their league.
