It's C-ute's diet song. All H!p groups not named MM will get shitty songs and now it's C-ute's turn.
Diet song is actually a good song just not accepted that easily by people.

Has it been that long since Egao no kimi wa taiyou sa was released?
(It was an okay song, but the run on lines... And the dance. They were a joy kil).

I can't place it but The Power gives me Berryz vibes too. Not necessarily in a bad way but more in the way that I feel like Berryz would sound better on it. I don't hate it but I'm not in love with it either.

Hopefully C-ute's next single is back to fine form; then again C-ute IMO single wise goes Great->Great->Great->Meh->Great->Great->Great->Meh. And i guess it has been a while since Kono Machi so I guess it was time.

Seriously, did Tsunku went to an Indian restaurant and saw a Bollywood showing on a screen, so he came up with this song? This is not C-ute at all.
I am hoping that it will sound much much cooler in the MV but I know this dream will never come true.

It sounds like for most people, this single needs Kanashiki Heaven.

I personally like it, and no, not because I'm a Berryz fan. It reminds me of the early C-ute, like when they did that cover of Edo no Temari Uta II. The outfits also remind me of something they would wear. It's kind of a refreshing change from C-ute. It's something we pretty much never expected from C-ute.
