One thing that I was disappointed about in Pacific Rim was that the Gundams didn't have five pilots that each had an independent part of the Gundam which have a dramatic joining sequence where they all come together.

One of my favorite gundam type shows was a show whose name escapes me but several of the pilots had huge boobs.

The show was called Gravion. It might not have had "gundams" but it did have combining giant mecha. And, pilots with tons of boobage. And, a great opening theme, closing theme and mecha combination theme.

^^Yeah, Guillermo del Toro can do very little wrong as far as I'm concerned.

The Devil's Backbone and Pan's Labyrinth are my favorites I think.

I just found out that the Sims let's player Quxxn died today, after a struggle with massive infections from a surgery she had not that long ago.

It's hard to imagine, since I watched her videos for such a long time.

Judging from the way non-Japanese fans post comments in Gundam related sites, I wouldn't be surprised if that is actually happening. I mean, some of them go so far as to call "faggots" those who like a design they don't. Like when did liking a specific design determine your orientation anyway.

Anyway, got to watch Pacific Rim, and as a Gundam fan, no, didn't enjoy the story. The fights yes, but I'd prefer a Gundam to a Jaeger (except that the Jaeger is obviously bigger and packs a mean punch).

I'm more into the storylines in Gundam than I am the actual mecha, so that's why I'm not really all that interested in Pacific Rim.
