I'm still convinced that if the response to Peaberry is deemed good enough by the agency, other Satoyama groups will also follow and make their major debut soon

So consider this as the agency's way of testing the waters and not over-commit themselves to their new pet project ... or something lol

Peaberry is the best subunit anyway.

Obviously

Lies, but it does pretty much have the most popular member so yeah.

Well, that too

. DIY♡ may have Miyabi but OTOH there's Haruna.

I wonder how they'd sell with their own release. Miyabi and Maimi together might be enough to bring some fans in.

I'm sure they'd sell decently enough.

Wrong. Miyabi and Maimi aint no Risako and Airi though

^That's why I was wondering. Not so much with Risako but with Airi. I feel like she's the primary reason Buono! didn't die.

Maimi isn't Airi but she definitely has a fanbase. Miyabi is really really popular too. I mean all these girls hit the top ten in H!P popularity, the distinction between their fanbase is kind of a minor one (Save for Airi, probably, if her Mixi score is a good indicator, and according to Mixi all of them are more popular than Riho). This is true of the Western fandom as well, if we go by the poll H!O recently did that put Riho under Air, Maimi, and Miyabi (She beat Risako).
So yeah, it's not like DIY wouldn't sell.
