That's the second time I've been compared to her XD I remember her well

@Sohee: The lower key thing would actually be a huge improvement on everyone. The girls vocals actually fall lower than what Tsunku is writing for them (All of them, not just Riho - the Riho is a GOOD example) Listening to them do Anata Nashi at the concert, it sounds way better than trying to screech their way through Help Me!. I can only assume he isn't really writing for ranges and is just writing, or is writing songs a bit Higher because Reina is now in the forefront. I mean Renai Hunter was actually pretty low, so was Pyoko Pyoko, then Risa left and it was 123, Wakuteku (Which isn't TOO bad in the verses, the chorus is kinda high but the verses are nice and low), and Help Me!

Yeah I don't know... I don't remember when this was, I think around Aichan's graduation, but even Reina said somewhere then that the songs MM got were higher than they used to be and difficult even for her. Makes me wonder why he keeps doing it that way...

I did that, too. :o Weird.

Sohee wrote:In general Riho has a weird voice to me though. Not in a bad way, it's just... different. I don't quite get how her voice works lmao.

That's interesting. Her voice is very normal to me. Like I totally understand how it works. In my family, I am the Riho (strained, thin, child-voice), and my sister is the Sakura (lovely, full, powerful, resonant, mature voice). It's not fair!!!! ::sobs uncontrollably::

Oh, I like the MV. Because Reina. :crying:

Back then they were probably as good technically but these days I think Nacchi is better. Not saying Kaori is bad (though I really don't like her voice lol) but neither of them have anything on Goto, Takahashi or imo even Reina.

Also Maki eventually got there but while she was in Morning Musume she wasn't that great. I suppose since she was only in the group for a short amount of time it doesn't really matter but still.

Maki was always a good, natural singer with good technique and an eye on her tone, pitch, and volume. Kei was weaker in Technique and pitch than Maki. Being passable doesn't make you bad, she was a good singer, she just wasn't explosive.

Nacchi over Kaori is pretty much the same thing. Kaori has a really weak Technique and her voice wasn't very powerful do to her not using her diaphragm properly. Nacchi had/has very good technique and by the time The PEACE came out she was at peak Nacchi, being able to sing whatever was thrown at her.

This is coming from someone who doesn't actually like Nacchi (And hated Maki till Glass no Pumps came out, sorry Maki) :P
