Pro: #1 Weekly in the bag! History in the making!!! 5 #1s!!

Con: that's a HUGE sales drop. I know we want to be positive, but that's a fall back to the sales from before Wagamama and we want to keep climbing not falling... However I will hope that we get a jump before the end of the week.

Pro: MUSIC STATION! NO GOLDEN ERA SONG! The group is finally standing on it's own two feet plus they have those other shows and promotions and I'm hoping that it gives a boost to the sales.

Well, this is the first "slow" song for this lineup, the drop is more or less expected. 80K first day is still a good number and they'll probably be breaking the 100K barrier anyway, not to mention the number sold that weren't counted by Oricon.

I think the most important thing is that they still got invited to a lot of shows despite that drop, reinforcing the idea that they do matter once again.

^ I think that's the least. Dont forget that last single was released only 2 and half months ago and that's like too quick, the expected drop was maybe even huger so 90 K is eventually a good number. But after all, numbers aren't the most important thing about this single.

I don't think the drop will even be much more than between OTT and Wakuteka. It may well end up the 3rd best seller in 11 years, that counts as very good for me. I guess it's depends on your expectations though.

I think all the promotions might help keep the single on the chart longer, so the total sales might end up higher than what we would expect.

It's okay if the single sales drop a bit so long as they keep up the exposure and start climbing again. Though I would still like a sudden huge climb somewhere in the week similar to what happened to Wagamama/AinoGundan. Remember when they sold 25k that one day?

I'm nervous about the drop in sales, but not overly so.

"Such a thing" being... what exactly? Speak up and stand out more to make people remember her? I'd personally love it if she did that as that'd make people remember her more.

Thta of course yes, but I was talking about gimmick and such, she hasn't to be pushed to create a new image of her or it may be a mess-up.

No one ever said that though. There are some members that could need to work on coming up with something for themselves - but that wouldn't necessarily mean a "gimmick" but instead just finding something about themselves that is interesting and push that (ie. dance for Riho, comedy for Kanon, flattering for Haruna - they're all a "part" of who they are, they aren't being not-themselves, they're just pushing a side of themselves a bit more than others.) That would add "individuality" and "originality." Masaki for sure doesn't need that though as she's original as it is. She needs to speak up more and show that off though.

Bleh, I wish they'd perform TokiSora instead of Password is 0. I feel like it'd get more people interested in them.

I get that Password is probably easier to perform, but... TokiSora is a much better song.

You forget that Password is 0 gets played on TV several times/day so of course they would perform that. That's the song that the public needs to see them do. Password is 0 is apparently super difficult for them to perform, because it demands a lot of energy and all so if anything Tokisora would probably be "easier" in that sense.
It would have been nice with a medley or something but, eh, whatever. :b Like someone said - it's Password is 0. Not LOVE Machine & Password is 0. It's only Password is 0. *-*

Sayu and Riho said Morning Musume. '14 had taped a performance today for "Ichiban Song Show", another big song program. it airs 5/7 on prime time.

Ffffffs I LOVE this show. omg. *___* I hope that Sayu (and some more) get to be part of the talking bits too.
