Episode 2 - Training Camp : Dance Lessons

- Yaguchi says things are going pretty fast. Its episode 2 and they are at the training camp already.
- training camp for the 8 finalists
- the girls do that classic audition introduction where they walk down the street towards the camera before entering the building. All the girls are dressed in normal clothes and jacket during a rainy day. Each girl is introduced.
- Training : 1. Dance Lessons 2. Singing Lessons 3. Dance and Singing Lessons (with microphone) 4.Performance (all of them must perform the song they learned together)
- their training camp song and dance is "Jealously Jealousy" (including the rap).
- Hello! Pro Kenshuusei dance teacher Mitsubachi Maki is their sensei for Dance Lessons
- Mitsubachi is already scolding them during the introductions. Matsubara Yuriya has trouble with just introducing herself.
- Matsubara is lost and can't keep up with the dance. The girls can't keep up with the speed of the lesson.
- The girls openly talk to each after lessons and praise Hello! Project's professionalism and coolness
- talk panel discussion till the end of the episode

- Marron divides the parts of Jealously Jealousy to the girls
- All the girls get one on one lessons.
- 4th grader Matsubara Yuriya is lost and has no idea how to sing to Jealously Jealousy

I'd keep Hashimoto Momoko, Shutto Anna, Kanemitsu Ruru, Goto Sayaka and Kodama Mai.

Question is where to put them? Ichioka's new group and Kobushi Factory make the most sense.
I don't quite see them adding girls to Morning Musume or ANGERME. Those groups seem big enough already.
Unless they feel the need to compensate even more for the loss of Kudo Haruka or the potential loss of Aikawa Maho.
Tsubaki Factory or Juice=Juice? Maybe, although I don't quite see why.

Just from amped's recap, it's pretty obvious Matsubara Yuriya will proooobably not make the cut

It doesn't matter if they appear not to have much talent at the beginning, or if they make mistakes during the training. It does matter if they respond well to the training and improve quickly in a short time. Up-Front has always looked for that quality in new members — it's all about their professionalism and long-term potential. See Konno, Michishige, Iikubo, Ogata, etc. There are also the occasional aces, of course, but you can't build an entire business on a handful of those.

Remember, one of the things that separates idols from artists — and one of the reasons why idols start so young — is that the fans want to watch them grow and improve over time. Artists — and even aces — are boring in that regard.

So, with that in mind, they could be editing these episodes to set up Yuriya as a surprise winner. It is a reality show of sorts, and that's what reality shows do.

It's obvious that Yuriya is going to make it in, if not into a group, then at least to KSS. I might not like it, but they wouldn't be showcasing her so much if she wasn't going to stick around.

clearly Hashimoto Shin was not even following the criteria of the audition because Yuriya fits none of these. She doesn't even know any Hello! Project members. She didn't even practice the song she was suppose to learn before coming to training camp. There are other girls who want to be in Hello! Project more than her (Hiromoto Ruri)
