The daughter of Pop Culture writer Sakurai Takamasa (who passed away in an accident in 2015), Sakurai Kaori, watched Oda Sakura's cover of MISIA's song and immediately got emotional because it reminded her of her father. His daughter wrote a very deep and sad letter to him and how she is also an H!P fan because of him:

if you don't remember, Sakurai Takamasa used to write articles about Morning Musume and H!P groups traveling overseas and was big Hello Pro fan

^ I saw Sakurai-san when I went to ℃-ute's Mexico City concert in 2015. It was quite a blow when we learned of his death only a few months later. He and I were the same age.

I may have missed this memo because I've admittedly been less engaged with H!P than before but...
Can we plz get a Ogata Risa/Kitagawa Rio subunit? They look soooooo similar.
I'd even settle for a duet performance (at first). Cabbage Hakusho might be a little odd since Tsubaki has legit covered it but maybe a Dia Lady/Lady Mermaid moment?
Please UF, please!
Edit. Wait. Duhhhh. A W performance or cover!! (If we're going with the they look very similar approach).

^isn’t that Masaki’s thing?
If anyone should be doing W I think it should be the HomaMei combo
But having said that... they DO look similar, why am I seeing this just now.

Since there is a recent spike in cases especially in Tokyo, the Japanese government isn't ready yet to decide on easing the attendance capacity even further for public events. Right now it is at 50% venue capacity and the limit is 5,000. The restriction was about to be lifted on August 1st.

I guess I’ve been living under a rock but I didn’t know Suzuki Airi had two live albums. I just found them on Apple Music. And I really enjoyed listening to them and wish H!P groups would follow and do the same. There’s just something so raw and special about them.

The Family Mart convenience store at Higashi-Azabu store in Minato ward, Tokyo (it is right next to the Upfront Agency building) had to temporarily close because their employee had tested positive for covid-19. He was a male employee in 20's and did wear a mask.

Not sure what happened to Angerme this past year but the line-up sure has changed.
Can't say I'm that sold on Haruka, Reira and Rin as members just yet since they're still fresh but I am looking forward to the new audition.
From kenshuusei I think Nishizaki, Kanami, and Shion would be good additions to the group.
They have that "oshare" and quirky vibe to them but don't seem to overlap with current members.
Ideally I'd love to see a new charismatic ace in Angerme since we've lost Mizuki and soon Funaki.
I'd love to see Kanami debut but given there's only 2 girls right now in Hokkaido kenshuusei it seems very unlikely. Poor girl, but at least she gets all the Hokkaido kenshuusei activities to herself.

It never occurred to me how short Inaba Manaka is until...
