- They open up the episode with the important announcement that the 2021 Kenshuusei Spring Ability Assessment Test is happening on May 29th @ 3:30pm and it will be a no-audience live broadcast. It is quite soon.

It is official.Details on how to watch it will be announced as soon as it is decided. Miyamoto Karin will still be a guest Judge.

- For the next few weeks, Hello! Dream will be hyping up the test by introducing each Kenshuusei one by one (by Ability Test order). They will show flashback clips of how they started, the improvements and progress they made over the past year since the previous test, and then brief clips of them practicing their solo song. They each talk about the song they selected and main points to look for in their performance.

- This week, they focused on the first 4 Kenshuusei in the Test order, since that is all they could fit into one episode.
- They start off by going back and showing all the previous Best Performance winners

1. Arisawa Ichika - SONGS (Morning Musume)
~ They showed a really short clip of Arisawa Ichika's singing the during the final round of ANGERME Only One audition. Arisawa has gained confidence with each performance compared to when she started. You can sense she feels more comfortable talking.
~ Arisawa says to pay attention to her dance for "SONGS".

2. Hiromoto Ruli - Dondengaeshi (ANGERME)
They flashback to the very beginning of Hello Dream, where Fukumura and the seniors praised Ruli's energy and positive expressions.
~ Ruli says to look forward to her surprise involving her outfit for "Dondengaeshi". She wants to show everyone that she can look "cool" as well.

3. Murakoshi Ayana - Tsugitsugi Zokuzoku (ANGERME)
~ Murakoshi says to pay attention to when she does the dialogue and raps parts in the song, as well as her dance.

4. Nishizaki Miku - Aishite Aishite Ato Ippun (Morning Musume).
~ When she first started, the first thing she noticed was that all her seniors had already developed amazing facial expressions, especially Yonemura Kirara. Nishizaki wants to learn that too.
~ Nishizaki's expressions has really bloomed and her confidence level on stage is high. She wants to show much she has grown. She definitely wants to her expressions in "Aishite Aishite Ato Ippun"

Kenshuusei Unit Ishiguri Kanami tells all the Kenshuusei to do their best in the Ability Test, and flexes her Best Performance award from last year. She says they actually gave her trophy back at Hina Fes. 2020.
