Hello! Dream returns with the first episode of 2021. They follow the Kenshuusei's dress rehearsals, and show backstage footage of "Hello! Pro Kenshuusei Recital December 2020 ~Hikari~", with a closer look on new Kenshuusei member Arisawa Ichika and Ishiyama Sakura rehearsing for their first song together.

- New Kenshuusei Arisawa Ichika and Ishiyama Sakura rehearse the dance for "Kagiriaru Moment" for the recital. Hello! Dream camera captures their progress from the practice studio, to the dress rehearsals, and then the real stage.

- Before the show begins at the venue, they go through a walkthrough, and feeling nervous. Then show a short digest of their performances at the recital.

- Arisawa and Ishiayama introduce themselves to the audience, and then perform "Kagiriaru Moment". They are interviewed after. Once they started performing, they felt their nervousness went away and they enjoyed it.

- After weeks of practicing (and lots recap of the same footage) with microphone stands, Onoda Karin, Murakoshi Ayana, and Uemura Hasumi finally perform "Pittari Shitai X'mas" on stage. After the performance, they felt relieved that they did really well.

- Vocal teacher Ueno praises Onoda, Murakoshi, and Uemura each for their big improvements.

Next week, more footage from the "Hello! Pro Kenshuusei Recital December 2020 ~Hikari~" performance and focus on specific Kenshuusei who can do fakes / falsetto.

This week, they continue to go behind the scenes of "Hello! Pro Kenshuusei Recital December 2020 ~Hikari~", with focus on specific Kenshuusei who are trying to show their growth and improvement in this event. The photo is of new Kenshuusei Arisawa Ichika and Ishiyama Sakura, who were featured last week.

- Kenshuusei were given a challenge / task to overcome by the vocal teacher Ueno-sensei, to show that they improved at the recital.

- The teacher wants to give the Kenshuusei a chance to broaden their horizons through these challenges

- First, In November, Hashida Honoka had to overcome her troubles with rhythm and slow movement of her body when rehearsing the song "Mikan". She was lectured to put a little more effort in her dance movements. She was also given advice by the teacher and got help by her other Kenshuusei. By December rehearsals, she took the advice and you can see she has put more energy in her body while in rhythm. She says she has gained more confidence and feels motivated. She owes it all to lots of practice and studying video.

- Next, the focus is on Hirayama Yuki and Ebata Kisaki, who tried their hand at acting dialogue (Characters originally by Kiyono Momohime and Takase Kurumi) in the BEYOOOOONDS song "Renai Bugyou". They practiced this many times and Mitsubachi gave them some pointers to make it more dynamic.

- After, Vocal teacher Ueno-sensei challenged Nakayama Natsume to do a fake / falsetto during the song "Warui Hito", which is not easy to do. But Nakayama tried it out for the first time and already nailed the high note. Ueno-sensei is impressed and knows she can do it. Nakayama has a big smile and feels confident in letting her high voice out.

- On performance day, Nakayama, Hirayama, and Ebata all get their tasks perfected in stage rehearsals and live stage. Hopefully when they debut, they get to show off their new found skills.

Next week, a closer look at the selected Kenshuusei members who performed the songs they auditioned for.
