That's not a translation. (Also, it's "jidanda" and not "jidada", no?)
If you want a translation you should put in the English translation for what "jidanda" means. In this case, that'd be something like "stamping dance dance, stamp stamp dance" or something similar.

Translation isn't the same as "making it easier for fans to sing along to catchy parts of the song", which is why it bugs me that the subtitles aren't properly done all of the time.

Which is not to say that the effort isn't appreciated, it really is. But as a translator it just bugs me.

Shouldn't the first word read "Jidanda" instead of "Jidada"?

Looking at the kanji for Jidanda it seems to be shorthand for jidanda ofumu - stamp one's feet.

i'm not a translator but i wouldn't mind if they translate the 地団駄 part and the rest "jida-dance, dance" just let it the like that. When i hear the start of the song i heard "Jidada"
even if it's "Jidanda" like the japanese lyrics say below, maybe it's a mistake on the recording or lyrics they put.
The other part of the song (Jidanda Jidanda Jidanda Don don, or something like that) i hear Jidanda clearly.

Personally, I am ok seeing "Jidanda-dance, dance", but like Sohee said- this is not a translation, if you want to "translate" then it should be the meaning of the word　地団駄

I would probably just go with "Damn it!"? The "God" part could be offensive to some. "God damn" is generally edited out on American TV, if that's a good indicator.

Personally, I always feel like if something is a Traditional Japanese custom, the world shouldn't be translated. Just like the traditional verse in: Seishun Kozou ga Naiteiru from Morning Musume.
However, when it is not a tradition dance or anything the translation like: Stomp/Stamp would be more appropriate to understand the title and the MV.
