When the music started playing for Ai wa Maru, I thought "Oh God why didn't they save this for an album?" But the more it progressed it reminded me of everything I loved about C-ute when they just came out !

"Seidenki" is probably the first C-ute video ever where I just totally forgot about Airi during the chorus because of Maimai looking so stunning.

Yep, this is definitely a last single. Singing ~Ano koro no you ni~ feels like SUCH a "final single" song xD

They still have eight months. That's a long time to go without releasing another single.

Look at the groups in the past year or two, they've only been releasing every 6 months or so. So it is very plausible, actually.
Also, they did say they want to focus more on concerts and the fans.
