Hello! Project has announced 9 new Kenshuusei and 1 new Kenshuusei Hokkaido. They will all appear at the Kenshuusei Recital September 2019.

Hiromoto Ruri, a star from ASH, failed Hello! Project audition 2017, Couldn't answer why she loved ANGERME, declined Kenshuusei invite first time, then formed an ASH group called Kakumei Shoujo 革命少女 for Anime Song Contest 2018 and became finalists from Hiroshima. Ruri did a lot of modeling under ASH. Search her name because is she really active.

I remember her, and watching her group during the contest! They were one of the groups I wanted to see win.

I expected they'd add new girls in August, but I didn't think it would happen until the middle of the month. I'm excited! There are some interesting names in the bunch.

Murakoshi Ayana (村越彩菜) could also be from ASH. There is a girl in ASH named Kuwahara Ayana (桑原彩菜), who is part of ASH Kakumei Shoujo with Hiromoto Ruri as well. Could be just a coincidence that they are both named Ayana.

She was one of my favorites in their group. I hope it is her.

Edit: There's a chance that the new Hokkaido Kenshuusei is the Hashimoto Ririka that was a member of Ribbon Girls, the same local idol group Oota Haruka was part of. She was also a member of Idol Class Sapporo (アイドルクラスサッポロ), but they disbanded in 2017.

You can see Hiromoto Ruri perform at the 2018 Idol Matsuri regionals with her ASH competition unit Kakumei Shoujo at 1:27:03 in this video. Yamagishi Riko and Ogata Risa were assistant MCs.


MAX♡GIRLS competing in 2017. She introduces herself at 5:08. They had to cover ANGERME's "Majokko Megu-chan" that year. Katsuta Rina and Murota Mizuki were assistant MCs for this round.

29:15~ Kenshuusei Unit "Warui Hito" performance (H!P Summer concert 7.13.19)

I know the members aren't fixed but man, I sure do wish this was a legit group. That performance was really good, and the song is a bop!
