Well, if you live in the country it's obviously easier to get them?
Ordering not an option?

I took her comment to be based off of a monetary deficiency, not physical lack of access.

Yeah it's more of a financial issue than location don't get me wrong...
I'm 16 so I have to use my parent's credit/debit cards to get goods when I need to and they aren't so fond of the whole "Japanese" idea so... xD

Oh... ~.~ the "Japanese idea" ... it's a single of the group you like. :l
If it was a photobook I guess I'd understand if parents don't want their kids to buy that. But a single?! =__=

I totally get it. My father grew up during WWII and then worked in the automotive industry during the '70s, '80s, and '90s, so he hates everything Japanese. He and I had more than a few heated exchanges when I first got into anime and manga at university.

UreChiissa has a point, I had the same problem back when I was younger and had to rely on my mother's credit card. She and my brother find it so weird that I'm interested in Jpop and find it childish, kind of like with anime. Maybe it's more accepted in other countries, but there are definitely some people that make a bigger deal out of it.

Thanks for understanding....
It's quite frustrating since I feel like I can never support them but it's okay, 2 more years to go and my money is free (A)

Rant.
Spoiler: show
These days it's even more popular worldwide than it was when I first got into it.
My family thought it was stupid and childish and whatever, too. I was laughed at a lot for watching Sailor Moon when I was 12 (how ridiculous is that) and when I started to listen to Japanese music my family hardly thought it was good music but rather made fun of it, yes, how very mature. But these days at least one anime airs on TV in most countries. Hello Kitty is worldwide. And when it comes to music, I think it's ridiculous that adults have a problem with it because it's not something they listen to/know themselves. "It's Japanese." or Chinese, or Italian or Indian, whatever. Not like it's illegal or related to the mafia. It's music from a different country, big deal? Not really.

Having that said. I hope this single does good.

You're not seeing the big picture. My father was genuinely threatened by the Japanese for much of his life, first militarily during the war and then economically as Japanese auto companies came to dominate the American market. (It's only very recently that American auto companies have gotten serious about developing quality products to compete and not depending on nationalism to sustain them.) They were a real enemy to him. So while his objections to my interest in Japanese pop culture may be superficially irrational, they grow from a thoroughly rational root.
