I learned my English from the original FF, FFVII is my first playstation game and FFT is one of my favorite game of all time so I'll always have a sweet spot for the series but goddammit if the ps2 onward release weren't anything but disappointing.

I love strategy and jrpgs best but I dabble in most genres. The only one I'm anticipating from this E3 is only Total War : Rome II so far though...
Not overly interested in next gen consoles, mainly because I'm dirt poor but there really doesn't seem to be that many interesting games lined up yet.

Platformers, fighters, SRPGs, racers, puzzles - those tend to be my favorites. I don't exclude other genres, it's just that my favorite games seem to belong mostly to those.

If Rome II is anything like Shogun II, I'd say there's lots to be happy about.

Play Ni no Kuni

It's a collaboration with Studio Ghibli anime studio (Nausica, Mononoke Hime, Spirited Away, Totoro, etc), they did the character designs (I'm not sure about the story but I think they also did), even their main composer was in charge of the music.

Give it a try.

And lol at starra rage-swearing because of game-failing

Hell yeah, Shogun II was great after Empire and Napoleon almost turned me away from the series.
The Fall of The Samurai expansion pack also does better with naval, napoleonic infantry and artillery warfare.

I still have a few unfinished campaigns there... might as well try to finish it before the weekend :mikihead:
Legendary Mode ahoy!

Nice knowing you Xbox, 3rd world countries says bye :)

Not even planning to go jump into "next-gen" anytime soon (my PC and ps3 works fine thx) but if Sony goes down this same route I'm gonna be pissed.

Play Ni no Kuni

I played the demo of this a little while back and during Kai's summer break from classes we'll probably be buying and playing it. It was the type of RPG with a world map where you see the bad guys roaming in real-time, and when you touch one you're brought into a battle zone, for real-time battle. But then you also gather little monsters during the game you can choose to battle using.

I know recommended Mario Kart but uh maybe it's not a good idea for you to play it lol.
I'm pretty calm and the obscenities that find their way out of my mouth when I play that game :fear:
