What's so funny, though? Well, as far as I can tell…

…when Uemura asks Arisawa what she likes about Miyazaki, one of things Arisawa says is kashikosou ("She's so wise")…

…but the way Arisawa stumbles over her words, it isn’t clear what she said…

…so the staff asks, through Uemura, "Did you mean to say she's zuru kashikoi (sly/cunning)?"…

…but Arisawa is so excited that she isn't really listening and just agrees with whatever…

…and Uemura pounces on that, shouting "She said it! She said it!"…

…which embarrasses Arisawa, of course, and forces her to say that she meant regular kashikoi, no zuru — or as she says, "The Kashikoi".

As always, I welcome correction from someone more fluent.

Nevertheless, the point is that Arisawa is adorably awkward and easily flustered.

Just a small correction. Both Uemuu and the staff perfectly heard and understood that Arisawa said "Kashikosou" (smart), but them having known Miyazaki since forever, they teasingly asked if she really meant "Zuru Kashikoi" (sly). Arisawa excitedly answers yes, and Uemuu is like, "Uh oh, Yukanya is going to be mad at you" in a joking manner. So Arisawa says "I apologize and correct my previous statement. I meant just Kashikoi, not zuru".

After having seen this a couple of times, it seems Sakura is the weird(er) one out of these two, which is completely opposite of my initial impression.

Quite a few Japanese fans on their blog comments and on 2ch were praying that their manager doesn't get angry later at Sakura.
