i collect limited edition CD's. if i can't stand to look at it, i don't want it.
i only open my albums to see what's inside, i never play the discs. i don't buy albums on iTunes either because i have enough to download as it is, i don't need more clutter and i rarely listen to music that way anyway. instead, i listen to the music through concerts, which i do buy, and PV's, and when Bryan decides to play them on his computer or in the car. most songs i hear for the first time through the previews posted on YouTube, and the ones that really stay with me tend to be A-sides, B-sides, and album songs that end up performed in concert often.
so the only reason for me to buy a CD is if i want to add it to my collection. i'm especially picky with albums art, since the album songs are rarely better than the A-sides, which i gladly put money into sometimes even buying multiple versions.
