I was thinking the same when I was listening to Renai Hunter, Chatin. I still like the song, though. This whole updated idea and the songs remind of A-Teens but Morning Musume...

The Peace is the only track i'm not completely convinced. But its definently a great album.

I'm not a big fan of Reina's voice outside the platinum era where she really shined so I like hearing the songs without her.

That's kind of a strange thing to say as Reina has said that she had trouble with the Platinum Era songs because they were set too low for her and that she was much more comfortable singing the newer songs.

Lol I disagree with Reina! Resonant Blue was like the signature Ai/Reina Platinum era song in my opinion. And many other Ai/Reina lead platinum era song especially Naichau Kamo, Shouganai Yume Oibito and Nanchatte Renai. I can't imagine those songs without Reina (Or Aichan for that matter). I know Reina personally liked the songs from One Two Three onward, and I remember her saying how cool it was. But I always felt her voice stood out too much and I like hearing the other girls get more lines. Oh though when I listened to One two three again the other day I realized that she sounded really good there. But I think Ayu/Maa-chan sound just as good.

I think I associate Ai and Reina's voices with the Platinum Era, but Sayu's voice with the Colorful Era. Sayu got very few if any lines during the platinum era and when she did she sounded awful. Now Sayu sounds amazing in every song she sings and she is a very central voice to the recent singles. Having Reina leave really was the last thing that needed to happen for this era of Morning Musume to separate itself from the Platinum Era and carve out its own individual place in Morning Musume history.

I love Sakura singing. She's born to sing. Just like airi. A natural singer.
But now, when I see people saying she sound like aichan, I start to wonder is it good that she takes Takahashi lines.

Sakura/Riho did a pretty good job with Manpower, nothing like Ai/Risa version but its still pretty good. Im glad Maachan is getting more lines too.

I don't outright dislike anything like I did on °C-ute's album, so that's already a huge plus. There are a few I really love (will probably listen to over the original), some I only like (equal with the original), and one or two where I do just prefer the original version.

I really like what I'm hearing for "Wolf Boy" though, the music is great. I need the whole thing to get a better feel for the singing parts, but the actual music.. yes.

- The only one I don't want to hear live just yet is "Manpower". I don't think it would go smoothly right now.
