Ok so I know there are people who don't like rumors, so I'm going to post this in "spoilers" under the guise that its just for fun

So if anyone is into rumors, you might be interested, but if not then you can just ignore the post.

I also want to state again that these are only RUMORS. And should not be taken seriously in anyway.

Well, it’s just one person writing the article, but here’s Suwa Keiko’s take on who (from Kenshuusei) is most likely to pass the audition.

Tanabe Nanami (Tanapyon)
She sparkled when she won the first ever Fan Favourite award at last year’s recital (or “public test”), and her skills are well-rounded. (Stable dance/singing, flully atmostphere, talking ability is on-point.) She’s doing her best to prepare for her rise to stardom. H!P seems to favour long enrollment (in the trainee program) so with her 5 years, she seems to be a likely choice. Yet she’s only 14, so she still has the “power of youth”. (Also, I think there’s a mention that it would be an “almighty” waste to not debut her in H!P?)

Hamaura Ayano (Hamachan)
Second to Tanapyon in trainee experience, Hamachan (now 14) joined when she was 10 years old. Her body is long and slender, but her face looks like a little like a frog (the writer apologizes), but her exceptional cuteness is felt by all. With her spoken lines at the beginning of “Oheso no Kuni Kara Konnichiwa”, she seems to be the kenshuusei’s center member. Also, she was selected as a substitute for Tsunku, even representing him in public MCs. This adult direction for her is supported, so it seems likely that she’ll enter Musume.

Danbara Ruru (Danbaran)
A newcomer that entered Kenshuusei in September of last year, this dazzling 13 year old supernova brushed aside her senpai won Fan Favourite at this year’s recital. At this public test, the hall was overwhelmed by her singing ability, falling silent as she showed her gift. Morning Musume demands high skill levels, and this talented person has battle-ready firepower. Since Tsunku has previously said he “wants one more powerful vocalist”, she suddenly caught my attention.

Sasaki Rikako (or just “Rikako”)
With Michishige graduating, it’s highly important to fill the gap of looks, and this person’s name keeps on coming up. Said to be half Japanese and half Filipino, she has the power of standing out even among a large group of people with her angelic and ‘exotic’ looks. With her lively spirit and innocence of a puppy that can’t be found elsewhere, you can’t help but smile when the name of this loveable character comes up. She has the bright atmosphere of a star, and lately this 13 year old’s popularity has been quickly rising as she frequently stands equally as center with Hamachan.

Other than that, please check out the 12 year old pair Haga Akane (Akanechin) and Funaki Musubu (Funakki). Funakki has the appearance of a doll with her short build and baby face, but she boasts expressive power with her singing ability. As for Akanechin, during her first appearance on stage, she said her dreams for the future involve entering Morning Musume, graduating at age 24, and becoming an announcer like Konno Asami. These two own their abilities of putting adults to shame with their professionalism and guts. If they were in Morning Musume for the next 10 years, they would make it feel peaceful with their reliability.

At the end, the author adds “No matter who is picked, this was amusing. Tsunku has a strange sense concerning originality, so there’s a likelihood that completely different girls will be there in the end.”

Seems like we don't need the audition footage anymore. We have enough debate on who in the kenshuusei should or shouldn't be getting into Morning Musume.

I would be surprised if more than one slot in Gen 12 was filled by a girl already in H!P. Generations 6. 8, 9, 10, and 11 all had 1 each.

As far as I know, these rules are all made up by wota, anyway -- they're based on what H!P/UF have done before, but that's all just observation of (and theorizing from) past practices. Do Tsunku, etc. feel like they're bound by any rules regarding audtions? Probably not -- and I suspect that they'd ignore any rules that they did have if they became inconvenient.
