So, something like "I don't need things like freedom as long as I have you."
Wait… what?
"Even if I don't have freedom, as long as I have you [I'll be fine]."

That's clearer grammatically, so thanks for that, but it's still pretty muddy philosophically.

Really? It makes sense to me... xD
It's like. He's saying we're not free in this country despite that we should be and we keep saying that we are, and it sucks, but "as long as I have you" I can deal with it. You make it easier to deal with not being free.
No? Maybe you meant something else lol.

The lack of freedom? Yeah well I guess I could see that.
Maybe the next single will be about how one should reform the country.

That's what "Brainstorming" is supposed to be, it says.

Ah well there we go. lol
I was thinking a bit more along the lines "This sucks let's change it" but then again Tsunku wouldn't really write a song like that about Japan. Don't think any Japanese would. Mostly because many aren't aware of the problems they have.

He seems to be, though, at least that's what I got from what he's saying here.

He's doing in a round about sort of passive aggressive way, so people don't realize he's basically calling them all Sheeple.
