I honestly find it ridiculous that iTune actually lets people review a single that hasn't been released yet.

I find it ridiculous that any online store lets anyone review anything they haven't actually bought through that site.

I was thinking about this just yesterday when I saw that BABYMETAL's concert album is available on iTunes, and that it has dozens of 1-star reviews from metal-heads who never listened to it and simply hate the concept of BABYMETAL.

I was thinking about this just yesterday when I saw that BABYMETAL's concert album is available on iTunes, and that it has dozens of 1-star reviews from metal-heads who never listened to it and simply hate the concept of BABYMETAL.

Amazon has that option to show if the person's bought the item they're reviewing. Of course, I'd be screwed as would the authors I used to review for if I hadn't been allowed to post reviews on sites like Amazon as I was provided with Advanced Reader's Copies for free and wouldn't have bought them through any site. I don't know if any practice like that is done with music however.
