Huh, I wonder why her release got bumped back to indie level? And if they'll keep it up in the future?
Because this way she's not a major artist mysteriously charting on the indie chart, but an indie artist that sold enough to chart on the major chart.

Not that it makes any difference on the actual sales of the single though.

She's still with Universal, just under different label. (Universal owns a dozen labels like EMI, Universal J, etc)

If you look at the stock number, this single has "POCS-####" numbering, which is regularly used by Universal D, unlike her previous releases with "UPCH-####" which is used by Universal J, her now -I assume- former label.

Universal J is the big label, D is the lower tier label, so it doesn't sound good for her, because it's basically a downgrade.
Universal probably has given up on giving her a major treatment after constant sales dip since her debut, especially if they expected Kikka to pull a big number on the chart.. =/
It's sad, but it can't be helped I guess.

I wonder if the switch explains the long wait-time between her last two singles?
