There was a big hole ripped in the envelope, so I think most of them didn't survive the journey. :'( It's the thought that counts, though!

Yeah mine today and it had a giant hole too.

Letter mail goes through a sorting machine. If you had something in the card bigger than the slot that the mail sorter can handle you’re gonna have a few angry postal workers on your case. Years of sending idol photos in the mail through Idol!Swap taught me that life fact. The lady at the post office even showed me this tool they use to see if it can fit. Because I was becoming a regular and my envelopes were all sorts of interesting shapes and sizes. If not it gets special posted and needs to be hand sorted.

They were pretty small and I've gotten similarly sized things with cards/letters in the past, so I thought I'd take a shot (I expected the cold to hurt more than anything) - lessons have been learned.

Apologies again. As long as the cards make it alright, that'll be fine enough.

I'm happy at least one card arrived before Christmas. I always find it very pleasant to make people happy. Good news you love it. I refrained from writing on every cards, telling myself that you could give them to someone else ! Double happiness.

The mailman picked up my card for Stereo, and I've received three cards so far, so it's all happening on its own time.

In the meantime, since I have family at my house, we've got a tree - and since we have too many uncivilzed cats, I put it in a more-or-less cat-resistant location:

I got TU's today. Just when I thought I'd seen it all, then there's Santa riding on a mantis.
