I think I still like "Date no.." more, but I'm enjoying this so much more compared to the first time I tried to listen to it. I'm totally on board with Kiki keeping the short hair now too.

It drives me nuts when randos on YouTube comment that any given J-pop song sounds like an anime OP or ED. It seems vaguely racist to me: all they know about Japanese language and culture is what they've seen in anime, so they think anime is the totality of Japanese language and culture.

I mention that to make it clear that I'm aware of the irony in my next statement: "Junjou cm" sounds to me like an anime OP. When I played the video, I closed my eyes, listened only to the audio, and tried to forget that it was an H!P group performing. And by golly, it had everything I would expect in an anime OP (at least up to 1:30). With my eyes closed, I could even imagine the animation to go along with it.

I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing.

I think the only thing that could've made this a great MV is alternate outfits. But its still good.
I love the dance! I really like the composition of the song! Like the inclusion of Risa's spoken line is great.

Not really too big on the instrumental arrangement. Like the dubstep is a bit dated and the part in the instrumental after the dance break just sounds a bit too noisey.

Maopin stands out so much in this in a good way! Her charisma is amazing.
I think Kiki is so pretty in that she can pull off such a typical HP bowl cut. I don't think its a flattering haircut since it makes her face look so rounder. I'd like to see it even shorter with more layers like Fujimoto Miki back in the day.

^ I agree. In an ensemble piece it's pretty common to see a few girls "phone in" some of their performance, but Maopin goes balls to the wall, representing like she's the front girl in her own video. I like how she emotes during "jikan ni" @ 2:44 especially compared with the girls after her. The song is, as I've said before, kind of a throwback to MM's Aichan-fronted era (e.g. Seishun Collection) type production quality, and for that reason pleasantly nostalgic but objectively unremarkable. More or less the same for the video itself. I really like that era so I'm not complaining tho.

I think this song might end up being my favorite of the three. That Takui song is really going to have to hit me hard to take over.
