Thursday evening, in a hotel of Tokyo a charity party has been held.
This charity event is "Play for Japan", organized by the "Japan Expo Foundation" (not related to the Japanese conventions Japan Expo in Europe).
This foundation plan to send a Japanese baseball children team in Los Angeles and all those members are from Sendai (one of the disaster stricken city). One of the goals is to send children from Sendai to Los Angeles in hopes of expanding their dreams and possibilities.
All the members of the baseball team came before going to LA for a “sending party” in Tokyo.
During this event, many sponsors but also artists were there, who gave several showcases like enka (traditional Japanese music), magic, taiko (traditional Japanese percussion) with shakuhachi (traditional Japanese flute made of bamboo), etc.
Around the middle of this event, the Magician who was also the MC of the party, said it was time for the surprised guest to arrive on stage.
And it was a surprise for the baseball team as well as for the other guests to see Morning Musume。 appeared on stage.
They all introduced themselves and then, Sayumi Michishige, as the leader of Morning Musume。, talked and said Morning Musume。 support "Play for Japan" like "Ai wa Katsu" project.
Everyone acclaimed them and then Morning Musume。 left the stage to let the event continue, with also some girls from Backstage pass who sang two songs in the public to conclude this event.
Up-Front is still really present to help those who have been touched by the disaster!
