^ I agree, this seems more like a glorified dance shot with some closeups if anything.
I like the transition pacing in the new version but I also really liked the members being introduced, because 1) It showed off the whole angel theme, and 2) I felt the introduction was needed for the renaming of the group. I don't like that in the new one more "bored Takeuchi" was shown (as someone mentioned) except towards the end where she was contrastingly cheerful ("glad this is over" feeling maybe?
). Also, does anyone else find the solo's overly edited? I don't know, hearing the Music+ chorus recording version, even though it was Takui's voice over Ayacho and Murotan, I could still hear Ayacho and Murotan clearly, and it sounded much more natural and less edited then. For example, Ayacho's sudden abrupt with the "~ni mo~~*stop*" really threw me off, because I thought it should've been extended, and Murotan's line was being drowned out by all the echo (?) effect, unlike in the Takui recording where I can clearly hear her naturally sing the line and end it on a strong note with a vibrato (?) that just hit it that line perfectly. I don't know, I guess my expectations of the lines were just altered because I replayed that Music+ segment so many times cause I loved their solos, and I expected a similar result in their PV.
As for Otome no Gyakushuu, the PV made the song a done deal for me, though to be honest I like this song because I get to hear them sing solos again hehe The vocal capability of each member of Angerme is outstanding, I was really happy! I LOVE Rina's line, and i'm so proud of Kana's solo and her low harmonies
The two were the "weakest link" in the group, but now, the group's pretty much all great or outstanding. Maho interlude though o.o It's probably harder to ballet without actual shoes but at the small portion we were revealed I felt the dance was weird (i'm not referring to the fact that there is this happy ballet moment in the middle of this serious/scary song, but the actual dance is off imo) I guess she beat Ogata in implementing ballet to their respective group
Though I am really interested in what the rest of the song sounds like (not sure if there was a radio rip earlier or not, I've been away from internet access for a whole while).
Anyways, yeah, I REALLY like this single, but there's just stuff here and there that editing did to make it a bit ehh in some parts, but I definitely feel the replay value for these songs are high, and I really enjoy both songs.
