Not in an actual, published photograph. (That's what photo editors are for, after all.)

But if you gave me time to review some video and take some screenshots, you'd see what I mean.

Don't get me wrong. I'm with Zunu in that I figure she is among the few H!P members who are not just idol-cute, or kinda-pretty-in-the-right-pose, but breath-takingly, heart-stoppingly beautiful. Every woman has her awkward moments, though.

tbh, i kind of miss her old look. the years around her first & second photobooks was when i found her so beautiful that she threatened topping Airi as my favorite. i feel like she's been getting that back a little bit, but i think i just found her between still-a-young-teen and totally-blossomed-woman phase to be when she looked best. not that she's not over-the-top gorgeous still.. just splitting hairs.

She has a very "all-rounded" beauty, but she falls a bit on the generic, boring side in my opinion. Or is that her personality?

maybe that's what it is.. although totally beautiful, there was something more awkward about her face a few years back that made her *A* to me. now her face has matured more, it's become almost.. too perfect? the kind of perfect that we've been conditioned to seeing everyday on models and such, so i don't notice it/it doesn't stand out.

the imperfections are why i find Airi so gorgeous.
not just imperfections for imperfections sake, mind you.. they hit just the right note. the snaggle tooth, the squinty-ness, the open mouth. lately she stiffens her smile too much, but in motion (and in magazine shoots) you can see she hasn't actually changed that much, just for some reason the way she smiles in official pictures.
