Maimai's show.

As I've mentioned before, occasionally I like to watch H!P stuff with the volume turned down, just to get a feel for the image that they present outside of their music and personalities that I've become accustomed to over the past decade.

Volume up, Maimai and Maimi strolling around town are just "Maimai and Maimi," the cute lil squeaky voiced kid, and the earnestly humble sweet-natured lass.
But, with the volume down, they become a bit like strangers. Maimi's personality is so down to earth, that it disguises the fact that she is freaking "rub your eyes because you can't believe what you're seeing" hot. Mai still sounds like she's 9. But looks-wise...not so much.

Tsunku picked the Kids way too young to have any sort of guarantee of how they would turn out grown up. But when you look at the percentages, and compare them to the general population, you have to admit he's either ridiculously lucky or some kind of genius.
