The handwriting was on the wall that she was outgrowing UUG(2) but the larger question is, will the group be able to stay together after this? I don't know if the other four women are nearly popular or charismatic enough to attract an audience on their own. I have a soft spot for Shima-chan but I have to admit she's not giving main character energy. And Chinacchan's gonna be 28 this summer! If they were a band maybe they could keep it going indefinitely, but idols have a half-life of well under 25, I think. I guess another option is that they could fold the remaining members into (Kari). Hmm.
