^ Kanon was definitely one of my favorite parts of this episode.

And I could not stop staring at Haruna's hands during some of the dance moves.

I know this particular observation is getting old at this point, but I'm still awed by how hard they're pushing the New Morning Musume. It's all Kyuuki-Juuki, all the time. I'm starting to forget that Sayu and Reina are still members.

It's good to see because they are the ones that need the push. Reina and Sayu have been around for years and we know all about them so they should be pushing the new ones and creating new stars. Relying on the old guard too much really doesn't give any newbies a chance. That said i'm glad that they got a chance to learn from experienced hands like Reina and Sayumi and the graduating two, Especially somebody like Risa who has over a decade of experience.

I know that new members need to be promoted. I'm talking about how they're being exclusively promoted. We often don't see the seniors with the juniors, except during a performance (of course) or in a blog post. That KuroBara special is a perfect example ("Everyone over 20, get out"), and even in this episode of HPT, Risa was more MC than leader.

The management is subtly but effectively telling us to get used to the idea that this is it — the group is being rebooted, and very soon it will be made up entirely of members who joined in 2011 or later. It's the New Morning Musume.

This was pretty hilarious and shows how much of a personality Kanon is. Her mental breakdown was hilarious XD

I was really impressed with Haruna, she picked up the backwards dance as quick as Ayumi. She really is getting better.

She's definitely one of the prettiest Musume ever. For that matter 10 gen is the best looking generation overall, IMO.

That whole "let's pick a homely girl so we can show how much she'll improve" might've accidentally worked in Miracle's case. But overall it was a stupid, fan-killing idea and I'm glad to see it's no longer in effect.

..Koharu? You thought Koharu looked homely to begin with? I thought she was always pretty cute.. and I mean, you can't stay it was fan killing in her case, she was hugely popular within the group.
