Taisei had a little fun and asked Nonaka to say Akane's dialogue line in English. He said it sounded so cool.

She was impressive for more than just her English. She's becoming a powerful and technically skilled singer, as was hinted at during her audition.

I'm just sorry that I don't find her voice more appealing. The producers routinely make the members sing at an unnaturally high pitch — 'cuz that's how idols are supposed to sound, right? — and it sounds particularly bad with her, in my opinion.

In contrast, they asked Maachan to sing at her natural pitch at the end, and she sounded fantastic. More of that, please, for all of them.

I agree that I wish they would be allowed to just sing normally, and that Miki's recording was super impressive & surprising. So was Haga's! :O
Almost everyone's mukis hurt to listen to, except Haga's. Someone who knows more about music--why aren't the mukis so bad in the final version? Is it because they layered/echo-ed them, or did they actually end up changing the note they were trying to hit there?
