[3/19] Juice=Juice 3rd single : Hadaka no Hadaka no Hadaka no KISS/Are Kore Shitai!

seems to resemble Keinkenchuu a little too closely in all aspects (type of song, type of MV, type of set, type of outfits), which makes me just want to compare them and Keikenchuu comes out as the clear winner.

but the outfits are cute, at least.

Ghh! Finally watched Hadaka no Kis (2 days ago, actually) and it's been in my head all this time. Awesome song, I couldn't do anything but love it at the first hearing. Love how they managed to get the "latin" feeling, which is not actually latin but more flamenco-ish, that's classical Spain. Latin music as the one produced and mostly listened in Latin America, to say it in a way, would be pretty different. And it's something I'd want to listen so much as a mixture in J-Pop.
The musicality of Hadaka is really nice, though. It's very rhythmical but also kind of "dramatic". Good for a love+++ song (with lots of references of sex too), gives it the feeling.
I'm missing Juice=Juice 's saxophone tho. In this kind of song maybe it wouldn't do much but they can't get rid of it.
Still not good as Watashi ga Iu Mae, and maybe not even as Samidare(though comparing these too is just pointless) but it's awesome. Such a jam!

And the MV is awesome. I agree with everyone who said that the camerawork was awesome, because it is. The movements are fluid, not too fast nor just static and also all the dark "background"! So cool.
Oufits are awesome and although people were complaining about Akari's pants at the video they just stay great. The red & black combination is kind of poetic.

Kind hate to admit it, but Tomoko owns all the MV. Wins it all as cool and sexy and all. She's just superb there.

Karin may be something like an ace so she sure stands out a lot but looks a bit awkward. Really lovely tho.
Yuka doesn't really stand out much, but she's absolutely not awkward but so adorable!
And Akari is Akari. She is just incredible.

Ugh yeah, and nevermind the translation.


Btw, the opening-ending of the MV reminds me of ManoEri's Otome no Inori, flowers! One of the best elements to be in a video ever.

Hearing the song again I actually really like it. I like it more than hajimete no keikenchuu if we are comparing the two. I also love the outfits. Somehow I feel like this could have been a s/mileage song... Or maybe a platinum era Musume song? It's very B-Side material or album song, but like a B-Side/Album song that I would love. Does that make sense? This single is so solid overall. Like I really feel like Hadaka no kiss is my favorite song from them with their first two indies in second and third place... Then Arekore shitai followed by Ijiwaru and Romance no tochuu tied for the next two places, and then ending with Hajimete no keikenchuu and in last place ten made nobore. That's really a kenshuusei song anyway.
